Saunders' post-match interview

Poor in front of goal

Strangely he doesn't mention the defence, which having conceded 4 you'd think he'd be disappointed with the defensive display?

In other news, Diouf and Piqiuionne look to be out for a while. Diouf's absence through injury could double up as Saunders' punishment for the nightlclub incident. There you go DS, i've got your excuse made up for you :)

Yes, we missed a shedload of chances (though so did Leicester- so much for them being clinical), but the goals were all down to defensive errors. One and four due to midfielders not tracking runners, No.2 due to a goalkeeping howler (and 'rita letting their right-back run past him), No.3 due to Chimbonda showing his man inside.

I do wonder if Saunders is watching the same game as me.

Hayter's conversion rate of chances to goals has to be one of the poorest in the league so arguably it wouldn't make a difference who was up front :-\

He's right in some ways we don't put teams to bed which gives them momentum and puts pressure on defence. yesterday reminded me of season one at this level under SOD.

Billy Kee would finish most of our chances.

Piquionne's loan spell was up after today anyway wasn't it?

On the radio on Thursday it said Deano was looking to extend Piq and Ilunga's loans until the end of the season and it was happening asap.

I don't want to sound defeatist, but in realist terms is there any point?

Let's blood some youth with players who will be here next season

Think of Willie McKay ffs!! He's got a few games left to make some money from his plan!! He needs to make sure these signing on fees are topped up so he can make as much as possible*.

*i await people telling me McKay wont be making anything or that the club will be making also (they wont).

I thought Ilunga had had his contract with West Ham terminated before he signed for us on a short term contract, so no loan to extend
