Favorite game in the Championship ?

In the last 4 seasons what game did you enjoy the most?

For me it is either Derby away the first game.

Crystal Palace away 3-0.

Sheffield Wednesday away 2-0.

Gonna have to go with Wednesday. Classic!

I'm gonna go for a controversial one, and its West Ham at home this season.  As a long standing closet WHU supporter having the Rovers on the same field as by "other" team, my "mistress", was a dream come true, and although we lost to an early Kevin Nolan goal I thought we should have won if only Rob Green wasnt in goal.

I had such high hopes for this season after that game.........

Derby Away, first game in the Championship is my favourite. ffs how good was we?!?! The only day that rivals Stoke Conference play-off final for me, Leeds game doesn't come close to that.

Thats my order for most enjoyable/memorable games since supporting Rovers.

Dont think i've ever celebrated a goal as much as i did Whitman's against Chester though. The most important goal in our History.

Posh away was special in a daylight robbery stylee, and did we feel good at the end, as we're not used to that.

i'm going to have to go for portsmouth away in the 10/11 season when we won 3-2 .
Atmosphere - Amazing
Some quality goals
Thought we'd lost it in the end but won it in the end. By far the most enjoyable game i've experienced in the championship, it had it all  :D

Plymouth away, won 3-0 and it was certain we would be staying up that first season. Made all the more pleasurable by being there the season before and watching us being totaly outclassed and hardly get a kick in a Carling Cup match. How fortunes change in football.
Even John Spicer looked good that day.

At the Keepmoat my faviourite is Derby at home in first season, our second highest home crowd in the Championship huge crowd saw Robbie savage score a free kick, Herrnan equalise with a 12 yard header and Mark Wilson vollying home the winner from outside the box.

Great atmosphere.

Either that or hull at home where we won 3-1. nothing personal I just f**king hate Hull. (Though I would try out the swear filter)...

Derby (season one) and Sheff U 1-0 - both away

For me it was the away win 1-0 at Sheff Utd in our first season.  They were up near the top hoofing it, we were second bottom playing football.  AS for home games Burnley in that season was quite good aswell, over 14,000 there that day at the start of our revival.

So many games come to mind which everyone on here has reminded me of. Derby has to come top because of the occasion more than anything, but apart from that I will throw in:

Ipswich (a) won 3-1 great atmosphere and good day out
SheffU (a) won 1-0 as others say, just great night at BL
Newcastle (a) we may have lost but great to go to St James Park
Sheff W (a) won 2-0, just great to ram it down the Wendies throats

There are loads more games that I have enjoyed and all the new grounds I have visited and I have thoroughly enjoyed our ride in the Championship even if the last 15 months or so have been crap.

The atmosphere on that train platform after is something I'll never forget.

Todays 4-0 thrashing of Burnley, which kick started our revival and kept us up for another season.

Think it has to be the 4-2 away win at forest. What a game that was and also the 1-0 away win at sheff utd another good win :D 

I cant comment on the Wednesday game because I was on holiday

Undoubtedly the best game I have been to in the Championship. Definitely a season turner, with the return of Heffs and the beginning of scoring goals again. It couldn't happen this season, shame.
