Already signed up on a 'corporate' deal - first time I'll ever have stepped in a gym.

Is it £9.99 for the pre-opening deal (full membership)?

It's 9.99 plus an Aryton Senna for membership/admin fee. That runs out today. The 9.99 is for unlimited anytime gym.
It's a good deal and being an ex member of The Dome and now at Adwick, it batters everything else. (Although note table table or somewhere on High Fishergate are also opening up a 9.99 different gym).

As an aside I have heard from somebody who used to be a member at their Wakey or Ponty one....that most of the equipment didn't work and would rarely be fixed. Some of the kit was in poor state. The customers who used the gym left a lot to be desired. I aint no snob, but I don't want to be training round certain types or age groups or folk just sat about on the gear all swearing and acting like 10 men or girls turning up like they're dressed to go out (I could manage this though).

In the end money talks and I have joined as it's more than half my current membership and I can walk it there. That will over-ride anything, and to be fair I turn up to work out with my music on, talk to nobody if I can help as I'm usually in cardio mode and b*llocksed. I'm in. It will be good and busy at first. All the newbies will drop off and hopefully all the kit will be renewed once it's perished.

If anybody is thinking of joining and believing they have missed the boat on the cheap deal, I understand they advertise like DFS, ie always offering cheap deals but it won't last, offer must end blah blah blah

Seems they let anyone join! Glad I'm still in my cooling off period ;-)

I read on their website that their cooling off period only starts once the place opens, anyway.  I had a swing round there tonight to see when it will be ready and it looks as though there is still a fair bit of work to complete.  Might pay them a visit tomorrow.

Spoke with them today, and the deal is now £12 a month and £20 admin fee.  I might pop down tomorrow and negotiate them down a bit for 3 of us joining.
