Just noticed David Connolly has been released by Saints. Would be delighted if he found himself playing in red and white again next season. Also Chris Weale looking for a new club after being released by Leicester. Worth a punt?

In three weeks Connolly will be 35 years old, and he's not been a prolific scorer of goals for nearly a decade anyway. It's a shame that rumour about Lee Barnard back when we sold Sharp was never anything concrete.

Weale on the other hand could be a good signing.

Chris Weale would be a fantastic signing!! Tell Neil Sullivan to jog on, send Maxted on loan and have G.Woods as #2/reserve team goalkeeper and have Chris Weale as our #1.

This managing malarky is pretty easy!!!!!
