Was at the game tonight & whilst i appreciate that this was nothing more than a "run out" for the youth team, i must say i was shocked at how poor we were.  I would have thought these young lads would have been busting a gut to showcase their talent & push forward there cause for inclusion into the first team squad. If this is the cream of the crop from the youth academy then we have big problems ahead.

That said, i have actually been pleasantly surprised by how the team have been playing in some of the pre-season matches & i am fairly confident of at least a play-off place come the end of the season.

We'd be lucky to get into the play-offs in League Two with the team that we have at the moment.

Tonight only re-assured my belief that we must sign some new players to bolster our squad before the season starts. If we don't, then we are going to struggle.
