This is the status he put on Facebook about half an hour ago...
iv just met Dean Saunders and hes weve set a challenge. DonnY Rovers get promoted and i ditch the crutches and then we walk onto the pitch together on the last match. SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN TO ME
Be fantastic if both worked out!

Ben is an absolute hero and a massive inspiration to everyone. He makes me proud to say I'm from Doncaster.
He should help us be united together as the rovers family we should be - get behind the team, roar them on to promotion and fill the keepmoat to see Ben walk on to the pitch to see an example of true greatness!
Well done Ben your story helps put everything else into perspective

This is a fella i really admire,true grit and determination,when they get on about sportsmen being heroes,what rubbish,this fella and everyone of our servicemen and women old and new deserve to get into any club in the land for nothing,people like Ben and the rest are what makes our country Great!!!
