My heart was briefly lifted that we were about to start the search for a football manager!

And why would we sack Deano now? We need to give him the season now. No point sacking a manager when you have let the build a team.

What an idiot.
We have won 2 games out of our first three games. When was the last time we did that?

I bet that Yorkshire forum loved it last night. They're probably making their "Saunders Out!" banners as I type this.

Yeah, let's sack him.

Let's pay money out to pay him off then more money to bring in another manager leaving him with even less of f**k all of a budget and a paper thin squad.

f**king genius.

Not to mention winning 2 games on the bounce (3 technically!)

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good old moan at Dean, JD.

I know, let's sack Scuzzer for total stupidity, what a plonker!!!!! I don't think even SoD would have stood for what Dean has had to put up with in biuilding a team from scratch.

The plonker's the clueless tit on the bench. It's fine fellas if that's the limit of your ambition, I'd like to see us play a bit of football that's all and after 10 months I've seen nothing to suggest we will under this clown.

I'd rather watch us win games. I had almost forgotten what it was like.

Of course it would.
But given the choice of 3 points with a more direct approach or lots of possession football without testing the opposition goalkeeper and coming away with nothing I know which I would take every time.

We do play football we just mix it about

And saunders needs to change his tactics more including changing his formations from time to time

His options are somewhat limited however with the number of players he has at his disposal.

The next Cov manager is going to have to come from the nut house. Totally unrealistic expectations from a skint club. Poison chalice, that job.

Cant see them getting anyone in unless they are un attatched

Some coventry fans glad to see him go

Reckons he was tactically naive

Remind you of someone ?

Yep, SoD.  No plan B, C or D. Bring on subs in the last 10 minutes to defend a 0 - 1 defeat.  Still, at least he had subs to bring on.

I don't understand it though

after 3 league games

surely the boards of clubs should know if the person is right for the job and just about un-does everything the club has prepared for in pre-season

And it's a shame that managers can't be given more of a chance to redeem themselves

Coventry drew 3 games out of 3, still 43 games to go

We will not sack Dean Saunders this early into the season simply because of John Ryan.

He was chastised for doing so with both Penney and O'Driscoll and even though it is an insult to mention Saunders in the same breath as those two, JR will not put his head on the block and line himself up for more criticism when there is no need.

Saunders is a clown, but at least he's no longer working in the circus like he was last season. I don't think he's good enough but lets give him another 10 games or so to see where we are at least.

I remember the 1st interview. 'you have to earn the right to play football'. I thought he was spot on. What if he'd have said, 'What we have been doing has not worked but Im not going to change anything and just keep my fingers crossed that we produce results'. Of course not. He was brought in to change things. People are just totally ridiculous on here sometimes. He may not be a great technical manager, but Im happy that we are winning games. If we get promoted, then he can look at adding a few more 'footballers', to the industrious freebies we'v gone for.

If Coventry appoint the might Kevin Blackwell then we're all in for a right laugh.

Saunders has done f**k all with us so far. A few more wins like tonight may help to change my opinion of him though.

Lol.

He's had a handful of games in charge of his own teams and you say that?   I think I know who the bigger clown is,  Coco.

He brought in enough players last season to mold his own team together. Remember McKay always insisted that Deano had the final say on all the new arrivals. He failed miserably last season and was a clown, but at least now he's starting to do something good.

I don't like him but I wouldn't consider sacking him until Xmas and that depends on where we are in the league at that point.
