Buses to Yeovil on Saturday now full
« on August 29, 2012, 01:14:50 pm by retford rover »
All the coaches to Yeovil are now full, inc the Travel Club, we do not have enough to put a 4th coach on unfortunately, so if you have booked and cannot make it please give us a call as we have a few names on waiting list. Dont leave till Saturday and just not turn up, as that is depriving another person of going.
coaches leave Harworth 7.05, Rossington 7.15, Infirmary 7.30 and Keepmoat 7.45...
S. Club coaches stopping at Burnham on Sea on way down ........
call Retford Rover on 07961-727769  or len on 01302-817347.....
great win last night.....................................

If there is only 3 buses going, how many tickets have been sold.  It is also wrong that supporters club members can't get on the bus when there are non members on it !!!

Maybe the members should book earlier?

Paul - it wouldn't be just me, but don't worry about it, don't think I could cope with so long on a coach in my current state!!

Hi guys,

There's 3 of us Irish lads coming in from Dublin for this one. I assume we'll be able to get tickets on the day, allbeit for a couple of quid more?

Cheers.

have tried to get bigger buses but we have 2 x 49 and 1 63 going    most  coaches away on tours  not enough for another bus.. as jenny says book earlier   coaches cost approx 1k down there not easy to run a coach for the odd 5 or 6,   and we have been bitten with at least 5-10 not people not bothering to phone us to cancel.  far to often.  what do you expect to us to do we are sorry.  moral of the story is book earlier.......

I know about booking early etc. but circumstances etc.  I have tickets and now can't get.  Can I get a refund if I take them back to ticket office?

Sorry to hear people can't get on.
The criticism for the guys who run the coaches is totally uncalled for,at the end of the day if you book earlier then there is no upset,i very nearly missed out and in future will make sure to book earlier, not Retford Rovers fault but my own... It's common sense not to leave it till the last minute.
Without the coach guys our support wouldn't be half as good, can't praise them enough.

Roll on Saturday.  :scarf:

Retford rover should be massively praised for the amount of work he does for these away games and has done for years. Keep doing what your doing Paul for many more years to come!
Bring on the bogey team!!

I'll be enjoying my trip to Yeovil thanks and I went to all but two away last year. It really is your own fault.

As one of those on standby I am disappointed to probably miss this trip but the only person I blame is ME, MYSELF I

I have used the away Bus system only once in 20 years but have nothing but admiration for the obvious organisation behind it

As I have run a local Footy Team and my Works Sports and Social Club I have obviously seen the work needed to make things happen a) at all b) getting it all to work right and c) trying to please everyone all the time

I used to get a) and b) right and recieved scant thanks from anyone - not that that was my motivation for doing it BUT I never got c) right and I can sympathise with Paul and the others who try week in week out to do that

I repeat that it is so easy to moan and mope about ANY organisation but much harder to be the person (thanklessy) making that organisation work

Fair play to Paul and his helpers I say and anyone who failed to get on this time for whatever reason - learn the lesson and book before the competition does next time !

Every time I've gone on the bus to an away game it's been top notch, Paul and co do a superb job organising and running the coaches and they certainly don't deserve any criticism.
