Didn't the Salutation once serve the Rovers Revenge? It was an almost luminous green/yellow (think Del Boy painting that Chinese Takeaway in Only Fools).

Wasn't a bad tipple IMO

Back on the lager front, I read an article in a paper t'other day which sums up my feelings about the lager on sale at the Keepmoat.

"Ex Factor finalist Cher Lloyd had to endure bottles of piss being thrown at her from the audience. Could have been worse....could have been Carlsberg!!"

Which reminds me when one of my mates driving away from the football got stopped by the fuzz. They asked if he'd been drinking and he confessed to having 3 pints of Carlsberg. "Oh, sorry sir, be on yer way now".
