but just wondering peoples thoughts on news we have been given budget to sign one player and the name heading the list is a striker

now with the squad looking so thin does anyone thing money could be better spent on another position. i think so far brown paynter and blake are doing a ok job plus syers did a great job up there tuesday

I would say so, Brown may get niggles, and at least a different type of striker will give us other options. I agree that we need another keeper, if only for back up. I wasn't at the game on Tuesday sadly, but how did  Woods play?

I'd be far happier if we spent the money on a keeper.  If we could push to another defender too that would be great.

totally agree but i think sulivan may be near ready so is it really needed
but if hes not then it would be top of my list as woods is a great shot stopper
but at crosses and corners he is pathetic, he just has no confidence

Agree, watching Yeovils goals the other night and (I think) they were all from crosses from the left, let's hope it was just a one off.

I think we do need a 4th striker given the physicality of the league, Blakes age and Browns niggles.

However I'd go along with most and agree a keeper or another defender should be the priority. But then we never know what loan signings are already being lined up once the permaanent window closes.
