Norwich away coach????
« on August 30, 2012, 10:35:24 pm by easy3pointstoday »
Right I've got a problem.
I'm so desperate to go Norwich away but i wouldn't be able to get the coach until i finish collage which is 2:40 so the coach would have to be after 3...

Anybody think it will be??/ :saywhat:

Doubt it very much unless someone can introduce a 2 hour time difference between Donny and Norwich.

I'd have thought bus would give it 3.5 hours to get there. So a chance of leaving Donny at 3 ish.

Remember a coach has a very different legal top speed 3.5 half seems about right to me just hope they need to concentrate on the league by losing a few more

Spurs this weekend for them should put them in bottom three but as always lets see what happens

Wholesale changes for Norwich as they concentrate on getting out of bottom 3, Rovers win 3-1 amongst cries of "you're getting sacked in the morning".

Is it time to wake up yet?

I think the coaches usually aim to get there one and a half hours before kick off, which is around 6:15, so would make the coach leave the keep moat at around 3, possibly 2:45 to be sure and probably 2:30 at DRI.

However this is just an estimate so don't take this as gospel...

Bloody hell, clearly the days of 'twagging' last period or 'skiving' off for the afternoon are over.

73/4 replay was around Jan 6th or 7th at a guess. Played in the afternoon of course due to the 3 day week in operation at the time

No electricity for selected days so no chance of Floodlights hence the afternooon kick off. It was one of our shut down days at work for the same reason so no twagginf from work

It ended with us well beaten 0-2 and I think Phil Boersma got both for Liverpool. I will take your word for the weather as I cant remember the conditions !

All of us who 'twagged' it from Adwick comp got caned for going to the match even though my mum sent a letter in saying how it was a red letter day for the people of doncaster etc, all to no avail, I can still feel it now, worth it though

I used to regulary miss double physics on a Tuesday afternoon to go to the football.

The best one was when I skipped it to go to Yeovil away in the 2003/2004 season - that lesson everyone else was taught how to do the practical session which ended up being in our final A level practical exam. The teacher had the last laugh when I only scraped a C!

I used to take time off all the time when at school, couple of favourites:

- Brentford away on a Tuesday night, got an opticians appointment to get the afternoon off school, told them i had headaches and it was an emergency (so i could get an appointment that afternoon), i had to have alsorts of tests and stuff for potential tumours....had to confess i had lied, havent been back since.

- A long distance away match on a Weeknight, next morning a teacher asked me how the game was so i explained what happened and why we lost, he replied "so you were only ill during school hours", luckily i didnt get reported for truancy.

The difference in time between Donny and Norfolk is not measured in hours it measured in years!
