"of up to $500m". That'll be a $5 downpayment then.

This has got to be the piss take of the week.

Bless.

The guy has just been on Radio Sheffield.

Apparently he has $127M tied up in his late father's bank and just needs the McCabe family bank account details and a little help from God to release it and share it.

Well, I've already sent £1,000 but its merely an unlock fee to go to his cousin who is responsible for the bank accounts. It transpires that the main cash balances are in accounts technically dormant so there isn't any tax issues either. How good is that.

The $34m is being wired to me, and whilst was sent on Monday, it just needs customs clearance to finally arrive. I'm sending £1,000 tomorrow to his brother who manages inter-country transfers.

Its then a simple matter of squaring the courier fees and fortunately his uncle handles this so just another £1,000 and i'm in the money.

Sheffield United made a late move into the transfer market on Friday night to bring in Dave Kitson.

Kitson was a free agent having negotiated his release from Portsmouth a few weeks back and Danny Wilson, as he told the official website, thinks he's made a fine signing with the striker himself feeling he has something to offer United: 'It is not very often you come across a quality and experienced player like Dave in these circumstances.

'It is fantastic that he wants to come to us, which has come about thanks to a connection with the McCabe family, without whom we wouldn't have been introduced.

'Dave has been to a few of our games recently and our performances have convinced him to join us...he feels he can contribute.'

The 32-year-old has shown in the past what he is capable of doing but "his best" hasn't seemingly been seen in quite some time so an initial short-term contract until the end of 2012 is the best route for The Blades to have taken.
