I Referee in the local leagues in Hull and the training mantra from the F.A. is that it's just a means of restarting the game there is no emphasis on making sure the throw ins are legal. They are much more concerned with keeping the game flowing. Personally I like a correct throw.

When I played junior sunday morning football (and it wasn't all that long ago) we'd set aside entire spells of training sessions to make sure we got throw-ins right. Why neglect the basic formalities of the game?

Roversalias i agree. I manage junior football and practise throw ins whenever we need to. It seems not many others do and it doesn't seem to matter.
