How about that. First goal with his first touch in his first senior debut. Special #drfc 1 #cfc 0

I'm guessing from Radio Sheffield commentary that Chesterfield are nearer to their hearts than little old Donny.

Ball has scored six goals for the Nailers ( Belper) in his 14 appearances for the club.

Commentators saying Keegan was MOM. Said not put a foot wrong all game and was always available around the ball.

Great news about Jordan Ball scoring on his debut with his first touch. Now that is an impact player. I'd love us to keep young uns like Jordan to fill up the bench for the first team. I'm still miffed why we let Baxendale go. I was talking to a Walsall fan yesterday who says our loss is their gain as he looks a very bright prospect.

Did Keegan play RB as the order of the lineups suggested? I know he played there a few times in pre-season and I've wondered if he could be an option there. Won't be as defensively sound as Quinn (although hes no slouch in the tackle) but could offer more going forward at home.

Keegan almost played like a sweeper , he had a cracking game.

He had a good game compared to his usual standard. Still takes too long on the ball for my liking. My dad commented that it's easy to see the different in quality between Keegan and the likes of copps. don't want to knock the lad though - any improvement is progress  :scarf:
