The number nine is involved twice in the following observations.

If our Cattle Drovers avoid relegation to D4 this season, we will match a club record! The longest period of time DRFC have not competed in the FL's lowest league is nine seasons, 1950-59. We have not played in D4 since we won it, in 2003/2004!

Also, yesterday, nine ex-Rovers, signed and loanees, played in Championship games. Sad to see Copps not getting a chance at the Florists, but after yesterday result there, maybe that chance will come. Also nice to see our old full backs doing so well at Derby!
