James Norwood
« on January 03, 2013, 01:52:50 pm by IDM »
Saw this on Sky website:

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8378484/Preston-Swindon-and-Doncaster-are-all-chasing-Forest-Green-Rovers-striker-James-Norwood

I would have thought Swindon would be the prime candidates for Norwood given the locality?

Swindon's Chairman has declarded today Swindon have no money to buy any players so I do not think he will be going there if the Chairman is correct that is.

Aren't Swindon still under embargo for breaching the fair play rules?

At least 2 with his left foot too. Couldn't make put the third but if I were to guess Id think it was his right. Anyone get a proper view of that one?

Left footer would be good. Two footer would be even better!

Three very good goals, albeit against a poor defense and keeper. He could be useful in the League, we need someone who knows whhere the net is, Hume and Paynter are too much of a muchness to play together.

I did feel sorry for George, every time the commentator said over to you George he got out one word and then the picture changed.

I've never ever seen a worse defensive display as Newport put up there. Horrific. How people can say sign him up after watching that makes me laugh.

Looks like he can finish but wether he would be able to cut in league 1 we don't know. Take a chance?

He can only score against the opposition in front of him and his finishing looks quality. If he was doing this in a higher league he would be out of our price range.
He looks like the type of player that we should be taking a gamble on.

Plenty of good players have come from the piss poor Conference, some of them in the Prem even now I believe. If you've got that striker's instinct, I reckon anyway, you can make the jump.

11 in 59 isn't that great. I'd be up for a conference striker if they were prolific.

He's got 10 so far this season so I doubt your source is accurate.
