Also on DROS,............ 'subject to paperwork'

That pen still has a mind of its own, unless Humey has pocketed it   ;)

This phrase intrigued me on a number of occasions. What is "Subject to paperwork"?

Either he has signed a contract until the end of the season, or he hasn't.

If he hasn't, then they shouldn't be saying he has. If he has, surely the paperwork is complete. He's a free agent, so it's hardly as if his old club has to release his registration.

The only other two alternatives I can think of are:
1 that he's verbally agreed to sign
2 that they really mean it's subject to his registration being confirmed by the Football League (in which case, why not say so?)

In which case it may be nothing to do with the mythical Rovers pen.
If that had gone missing, then he wouldn't have signed!

Although it may mean Griffin will sign to the end of the season after refusing to use the power of voice.

I still say the pen may still be our Achilles heel and perhaps the VSC should take this up with the club. Anybody on here got any sway with Bic or Parker or can borrow one Pauline's pens. Okey dokey pig in a pokey

He has to complete a course in origami at Doncaster College. All new players have to do it. Hume holds the record so far this season for making a running donkey in 3.5 seconds. Quinn would have been quicker but the head fell off one of his little men so he had to repeat it.
