If you have player no doubt you will have read it. If you haven't got player what is the point in this link?

Wrong, there`s nothing to read, just a picture of the Rovers badge!

Acknowledged how well the players have done.
Admitted he doesn't know much of what to expect this weekend as he hasn't seen much of Colchester/League One generally.
Says going out on loan was good for a new experience after being at DRFC for 8 years, but says now it's time for him to come back and play football and help us to try to get promotion.
Said he knows he'll have to work his way back into the team as Cotterill and Bennett both good players.
Also said that the reception he got on Tuesday was unbelievable and probably the highlight of his career.

Cheers pubteam. Encouraging stuff coming from all round at the club lately. Anyone read the Jones interview re atmosphere? Now tell me it doesn't make a difference, anyone.

Thought Saunders' interview was very good as well. He said that however long he's in management, he won't get a better bunch of players to work with than the ones he's got now. He says not one player has complained when they've been out of the team, and are all unselfish in the way they support each other, whether they're playing or not.

I noticed that Pubteam, let's hope we don't get the chance to take Balatelli on loan with City picking up 100% of his wages. All the good Dean has done would go in a minute!!!!

That is fantastic to hear. I get bored of that cliche where managers bang on about wanting the players to be annoyed at each other when they're not playing, because it shows how much they "want it". Why do you always have to be fighting or crying to show you care about something? I hate that f**king X Factor mentality. After last season, when you could tell none of the players gave a toss about each other, this is yet another example of Deano identifying a problem and going out of his way to cure it. Great stuff.

I thought it was really funny on Tuesday how bemused and overwhelmed he looked with the whole reception he got - great to have him back and I'm sure he feels the same.

Here's hoping we get the 'Southend/Norwich Copps' for the rest of the season - title sewn up!  :)
