Coventry to start losing

McGoldrick recalled to Forest and gone to Ipswich on loan.  Think this could be Coventry out of race for League 1. :rtid:

That is a definite good news story. They are more than one player, but look at his goals this season. Wonderful news.

Despite playing 90 minutes for them?

It just shows what a berk that McLeish is....

If you've got an in-form striker that's just scored 16(?) goals in the first half of the season, you'd have him straight back in the team.

Not necessarily, Sharp is one of the league's in form strikers and has the makings of a good partnership with Blackstock. McGoldrick might have requested to leave so that he could play.

They won away, scoring 3 at MK Dons without him due to suspension and then got beat at home by Shrewsbury with him. They will definitely be weaker long term without him but I wouldn't start writing Coventry off just yet

I thought they'd brought in Leon Clarke as a replacement for McGoldrick. He's probably not as good but he still gets goals at L1 level.
