It's not surprising considering the appeals panel is always heavily biased towards the original decision so as not to undermine refs too much. If the evidence wasn't absolutely clear as crystal, presented from three different angles with sworn statements from everyone at the ground, signed in blood, it just wouldn't be enough, and Billy would get an extra match ban for his trouble.

The good news is Brown should be fit for tomorrow.
