If Paynters was a red card and 3 game ban, what was that leg breaker from the Colchester player in the last minute?

Couldn't really see from south stand as players were in way but Deano certainly looked upset with it.

Looked shocking from West Stand. How it wasn't a red is beyond me.

I thought someone from Colchester was sent off after the final whistle.

There was a yellow shown immediately after the ref blew for full time, don't know if anyone else was shown a card.

Was sat in the East Stand today and yes it was a shocking tackle and he should have been a red.
But would you have prefered him to be sent off with seconds to go and banned for 3 games and then some other club get the advantage of playing Colchester with maybe one their better players missing?

Good point Wellred it was a shocking tackle but I'm with you on this one ......it looked shocking not malicious. A yellow card was the sensible decision with only seconds to go  imo. sometimes common sense should prevail (Dunk excepted of course)

A red card is a red card. It shouldn't matter what minute of the game it is.

One of the worst tackles I've seen all season. I'm sure the lad didn't mean it but if that isn't a red card, then what is?

It was horrible. Obvious red card.

It would have been a different reaction if Tommy broke his leg!
It was late, it looked reckless surely should have been a red

There was a yellow shown after the final whistle, presumably for dissent, but no red

Do we know if Tommy was injured at all?

Agreed on the first part mate, it was on of the worst tackles i've ever seen. But i disagree on the intent, he 100% meant it! You could tell with how he was stomping about like 10 men, the tool!!
