I'd like to think he feels the job here is unfinished. He did leave Wrexham top of the league though didnt he? Hope it's nonsense.

Please no he needs to stay with us he is building his team here getting results

He could go onto be on of our top five managers of all time if he stays with us

Also he seems to be getting the best out of some players that have had their careers come to a stand still ala David cotterill, who is now playing some of the best football of his career

I can't see them going for him, even if he is odds on. I don't think it would be a popular decision with their supporters.

They soon shortened! Ian Abrahams on talksport expects saunders in the running!

I personally think the beat thing deano could do is stay with us and slap a promotion on his cv :)

My money is on Sean for the Wolves job but Deano could be a target for a Championship team at the end of this season when the musical chairs begins.

Agreed. I'd be extremely disappointed in Saunders if he left so soon.

I imagine RW was referring to John Ryan and the board.

That's what I'd like to think would happen, but Wolves are a massive club who could probably attract most managers outside the Premier League if they wanted to.

Daily Mail picked up on it now, although I don't like this

'Saunders has no prior connection with Wolves but will jump at the chance of a move to Molineux'.

What information have they got to presume that?

If you were to ask 100 people to pick their next Wolves manager, Saunders wouldn't get a mention. For him to be installed as favourite, pretty much from the off, there has to be some legs in it!

Would be surprised if he went anywhere just yet. Surely if their board and SOD share footballing ideals it's his.

Probably get slated for this, so here goes he has done a fantastic job of totally rebuilding the team but I don't think he's irreplaceable, most managers play his type of football and I think it is hard to fail at this club as we have an understanding chairman who lets the manager get on with his job and at least a season to prove himself. Sad to see him leave but if he did good luck to him and let Ryan work his magic yet again.

It just shows how people are "manufactured" nowadays. That Rylan is a prime example could not sing for toffee  by the time x factor finished with him if you face happens to fit what is wanted at the time you will get there

Some of this is very true but fact is this league is both very competitive this season and also very poor. The three teams at the bottom of the Championship at the moment for example would all be much stronger than the three teams (including us) who went down last season. If we do not go up this season (and it is as you can see from the table far from clear that we will given the competition at the top) it is going to be a damn sight harder next season I can tell thee.
