I can't understand anyone being surprised at Deano taking the Wolves job.
He's ambitious and the move to Donny was always going to be a stepping stone.
There's clearly a link between him and the the Wolves chairman who was a Liverpool fanatic when Saunders played for them.
But if you want someone with some passion, who is Rovers through and through, it has to be Glynn Snodin.
He's got a great reputation as a coach, including at international level with Northern Ireland, and is highly respected in the game.
When he was here as a player, and assistant manager, no one did more for the club in the community and nothing was too much trouble for him.
I'd love to see him given the chance to take us back into the Championship.
