May I point out that the Bury game is followed by 2 home games on the following Saturday and Tuesday, some posters on here dont seem to be able to budget for home games, they will go to Bury have a blow out and then find themselves skint the following week, by all means go to the Bury game but please make sure you have sufficient funds to make it to the following two home games to cheer the lads on, Your support and money is far better spent at the keepmoat than away matches.apologies if you find this patronising it is not meant to be.

Okay well I'll be going to bury and the home games. So, does anyone know when tickets come out on sale?

Off peak London to Bury - £83 !

Too far to drive to be honest.

Shame.

Phil - you can get two singles for Euston - Manc Picc for £26 each way and then its about £4.50 return on the Metro to Bury. Disgusting that they only show the £83 option when you select Bury as your destination!!

Now that's interesting. How far from the station to the ground ?

About a 10/15 minute walk I am led to believe - there are also busses that go past the ground that go into Manchester.

I'll be getting the Metro from Manc, albeit travelling in from Preston.

I'm thinking of going from Bristol by car, have 3 spare seats or can meet and share on route. Fuel for my mobile should be about £55, including crisps.

Yeah met station is about 10 mins walk away. 135 bus from manchester goes right past the ground. real easy to get to. Think someone mentioned the football museum in manchester. If any of you get the chance its definitely worth checking out. And its free entry

Cheers for that ponte_ricky, sounds like a day out to compensate for the lack of drivers beers.

I'd have thought we would shift the initial 1000 no problem. We will get more than that if required.

Just been reading that the Stoke chairman wants all EPL clubs to put on free coach travel to all away games for fans. Good idea I think with all the money they are going to get from the new TV deal and the prices away fans have to pay in the Prem.

any current sales figures? i know i'm waiting for general sale as i'm the only ST holder out of my friends who are attending. would expect allocation to sell out around Wednesday closing time, 1300 by time they taken off sale Friday evening. with 250 turning up on day, would be a great turnout.

last counted was 170 tickets sold, source drfc police twitter. but they arent sure when that figure was taken gonna tell me on monday the figure for this week. the tweet i received "last update we had a few days ago was 170, but will get update next week" they also said 8 coaches so far are booked, most coaches are around 50 seaters so theres around 400 places and plus around same will be travelling via train/other public transport hopefully that figure is from tuesday an the double that amount has been sold as of yesterday.

If we don't take 1500-2000 here there is sumthing wrong with the position we are in and no game for a couple of week and the price of tickets being fairly cheap and within a hours travel.

I've got to wait for general sale as the 3 people coming with me are non ST holders, reckon around 1300-1500 will still be a good turnout .

I think we'll shift another 1000 this week especially if the weather warms up and the game is guarenteed to be on.

Should be looking at around 1500 I think - great turnout.  Just wish I was one of them  :( :scarf:
