Poor guy. Can't even win when race is fixed:

"While Wilson made more than £14,000 profit from four bets, he also lost £12,122 in one wager when a horse he backed to be unplaced actually finished second"

Why do bookies offer odds on horses NOT winning or being placed? Asking for trouble imo.

Betting exchanges rather than bookies.

Ok but same question applies. Asking for corruption.

And IF I am right, this is one of the people that was touted as a future manager of DRFC. Do we really want someone like this managering DRFC?

I'm aware that I made my feelings of complete indifference to this supposed scandal before the case reached court and now they have been found guilty I remain similarly disposed. Spare me from more moral indignation. It must be great to have never made a mistake.

Looking back, I'll bet( though not excessive amounts, and certainly not using insider knowledge) that Inca trek was just an excuse for Copps and Wilson to get away and plot a series of heinous crimes, in the Peruvian foothills, away from the prying eyes and ears of the law.

A 10 mile exclusion zone around the ground should suffice for Wilson and Coppinger. The latter will obviously have to be relaxed somewhat, while we are in the race for promotion,- until he leaves the club and or retires, and then it can be imposed with accompanying calls of how there was always something deeply sinister about him. With hindsight, the gloves and short sleeve combo was definitely suspect.

I'm please for Mark that he managed to pass that tip on to Copps. At least he's showed he can pass summat even if it's not a football.

Guess you want Coppinger jettisoned as well then? Only seems fair...

Old habits die hard......blame it on Mark Wilson. I heard that they should have made more money but they tried to involve Martin Woods who kept missing when he was handing the betting slips over - and Gary Woods who kept dropping them.

They were backing a horse ridden by Lewis Guy, unfortunately it fell at the first.

Wrong. The horse they backed actually had Lewis Guy's teeth. The added weight led to it losing.

One of their bets was on a (cart)Horse named "Steve Brooker"
It was a non starter! & was later put down due to injury :chair:
