Beyond a joke now, total liability, how a half decent keeper is not a priority is beyond me.

From what I've heard he's saved us a fair few points recently!

same old lazy posts having a go at our keeper, he's having a good season, growing all the time

we've had a big change at the club and it's taking longer than we'd like for it all to settle down and the team gelling again, sound like an improvement today

weaknesses have been in centre defense and mid - new signings have addressed mid, jonesy needs to settle back to being mr dependable and rejuvenating the partnership with mccoombe giving woods a bit more protection

Must be because Harper isn't playing.

He has been fantastic all season. Instead of commenting from your sofa, why not go and watch and you may well realise that what you just said is tantamount to the most uneducated rubbish that has been posted on here in months.

Well great least I win a bet saying top post would be about woods, yeah no doubt he should of held onto it but it was a soft free kick for spurr to give away and secondly it travelled along way and bounced in the area,so should of also been cleared. How about in that case jones costing us 2 points with that free header in 2nd half.mind you got to moan about sumone seeing harper didn't play.

Goalkeepers make mistakes and when they do invariably it costs a goal. Woods is one of the reasons we are where we are. Ffs we're in the top 6, leave the man alone.

Nowhere near as what he's saved us!

FFS can we not give Woodsy a break, yes he'll have off days but we've a squad full of players who have those.  He's a good keeper, not the best but he's ours and who exactly would we get in his place?  Sully is well past it, the loan keepers we've had havn't been much better and Woodsy continues to improve.

Yes he fumbled it today and should of cleared it but so should our defenders.

Got to say, I`m not a fan of Woods, but to be fair everyone makes mistakes, this is his first mistake in a few games, not going to slate him for it. the free kick that the goal came from was never a free kick in a million years!

Sorry, but Woods is shit. That's the long and short of it. He seems to be costing us every few weeks, and every few weeks we hear the same tired old arguments that he's "improving all the time" from the apologists. If he's improved so much why are we still talking about him every few weeks? He's given us a mountain to climb today and let the team down yet again, and it won't be the last time he does this season. Everyone makes mistakes, yes, but you can't just keep saying that as a cover-all excuse every few weeks. You have to draw a line somewhere and for Woods that time has long passed.

He IS our biggest liability and he's always likely to give a goal away. No excuses for fumbling that one today. But no, obviously Woods is great and all these people criticising him are just moaning for no reason and whenever he flaps at a cross or doesn't get behind a shot properly it's not his fault. It's telling that people defending Woods always just attack the poster instead of trying to think up a counter-argument.

It's doubly annoying today because the team has played very well and deserved a win, but Woods gave us a mountain to climb from 5 minutes in.

Every keeper we've had has the odd mistake here and there, if you look over the season the lad has made more great saves than mistakes and he's getting better and making less mistakes all the time. If you think Sulli, Warrington, etc were perfect and never made mistakes then you must be retarded. This guy isn't far off them and is only 22. He's got 18 years of his career left and he could be a Rovers legend. If you can't accept that he's a decent keeper then maybe you're just blinded by your stubbornness to see it.

I do wonder if all these 'great saves' are actually great saves. Don't get me wrong, he has improved there's no doubting that. But most of them are saves we should be expecting a professional goalkeeper to make. I think with Woods people forget its his job to stop efforts on goal.

Today's howler was ridiculous. It has cost us.

Why is it that no one is saying anything about the howlers from Jones and Paynter today and everything is Woods fault - If Paynter had scored instead of hitting the post and Jones had not headed over from 6 yards out we would have had 3 points. Lets remember its a team games and Jones, Paynter are just as much responsible for us not picking up 3 points today as Woods is

It cost us a goal nothing else like what's already been said what about the free jones and paynter headers easier to miss then score

Was a silly mistake that led to their goal, but he played well the rest of the game. People seem to need a scapegoat on here I think?

Thanks for proving my point, folks. No attempt to make a counter point just "LOL YOUR TALKING SHIT, RETARD", strawman arguments and hyperbole. Pathetic. Nowt to do with wanting to blame anyone, but it strikes me that this is a subject that comes up every few weeks which is unusual considering he's "improving". Where have I ever said a keeper has to be perfect? Where did I say they never make mistakes? That is a complete strawman argument, and not the point at all. There's a big difference between the odd mistake a couple of times a season that Sullivan and Warrington used to make, and the constant failure to grasp the basics and monthly cock ups of Woods. He's a liability and he's proven it yet again today.

I've always said he's a good reserve keeper. He can come in every now and then and do a job but if you trust him to do something consistently he's just not good enough. It's a team game and as a team we played fantastic today, but once again Woods has cost us. That's not even debatable.

And it was never a free kick. Not easy for keepers those free kicks, an error but they happen. he doesn't make too many these days.

Not to mention the one in the conference with Warrington just giving it to the Yeovil player for the indirect free kick.

How many goals has woods actually cost us this season I still think not many, and still think it should have been cleared before it bounced

I've given Woods the benefit of doubt since early last season, I'm sorry but he is dogshit, a good save every now & then doesn't constitute a good keeper , the players don't trust him an inch it's painfully obvious & when about a thousand people cheer when he collects a simple headed backpass that says it all.
I don't like to slag players but f**king hell enoughs enough, but it's not all down to him. Can't fault his commitment unlike mr 1 decent f**king game in 10 Cotterill.

Today Woods made a mistake and Yeovil scored. Yet how many chances did we fail to take, Jones, Paynter(2),Coppinger and Hume(although offside he failed to hit the goal. It's our goals for that will stop us going up.

One mistake is all it took but don't forget about the other ten players stood in front of woods that could have got a head or a block in
