Shrewsbury vs Rovers
« on February 25, 2013, 02:18:42 pm by bobjimwilly »
Betting partners Bet Butler have Rovers as favourites to end their win less run against Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday evening.

With a more familiar-looking line-up, Rovers were full value in ending Yeovil Town’s winning run on Saturday. Indeed, Gary Johnson’s side could count themselves lucky to escape with a point from the Keepmoat. The boys look to be back on song and can be backed at 7/4 with Bet Butler to end their winless run against Shrewsbury Town at the Greenhous Stadium this Tuesday.

The Shrews are seeking a third win on the bounce after recent victories over Tranmere and Stevenage and are 9/5 but Graham Turner’s team, along with Brentford, have drawn more games than anyone else in League 1 this season so, with Rovers having ended all-square in their last three, the odds for a draw (23/10) will appeal to many. A 1-1 correct score is 7/1.

I'm with you Rob, as long as Harper ain't anywhere near the pitch tonight, we have a chance.

I hope he lets Hume off the leash from the off and that should create more space in behind for Copps, Cotts and Lundstram to do what they do best.

Tally Ho!

Well it's a 'keep it on the deck' team, should be plenty of movement going forward. Pleased that Husband retained his place as he started showing signs of growing in confidence again and not afraid to have a crack at goal.

I hope Lundstram with a game under his belt will carry on and adapt to the pace of the game. More likely to be aware of what's going on around him and help us to link up play from back-to-front and side-to-side.

I'm a bit disappointed Syers not made the starting line-up but I think we still have a strong team.

Just seen a picture on Twitter from Liam Hoden - pitch doesnt look any better than the KMS pitch - so keeping it on the ground may not do us any favours

Interesting selection - Paynter can't be quite right.  I do think we ought to have a bigger player up front.  Copps to play central with Hume?

Pleased that Hume is playing, but I wish Flynn would stop playing Coppinger up front. He gives his all in any position but is far better on the right wing IMO.

Syers has done the emergency centre forward before and may do again tonight before the nights out.
