Thought it was quite reasonable if I'm honest, though they should have cut corporation tax quicker.

It could have been alot worse I thought, considering the cuts at least they are not raising taxes and the continuing rise on the personal tax allowance is a good sign. Its not a budget to save the nation but there was a few positives for the average worker, but it will be overshadowed by the housing reform and the "bedroom tax".Im looking forward to the next budget in 2014, I expect VAT to come down and maybe a drop in income tax (typical tory policy before an election.)

Typical tory policy before an election - and there was I thinking that they all did it and all along it was just the Tories - well you live and learn!By the way what did happen to Prudence Brown?
