Wasn't he one of the front-runners for the Rovers job according to Sky Bet?

Smash Sheff Utd 4-0 and get sacked in the morning. Did the chairmen read the result the wrong way round or what?

It wasn't the morning after Sheff Utd, they got beat by Bury 2-0 on Tuesday night and was sacked either that night or yesterday

To be fair I think they had lost 8 out of their last 10 games or something like that.  Plus they got beat 2-0 at Bury on Tuesday night (after the Sheff U game)

Wouldn't be the first time he's done it.

Horrible club, horrible fans, horrible little town.

He was better the second time he went back. But that may be something to do with his fitness coach as the Stevenage side from 2009-2011 was probably the most fittest I have ever seen. Apparently they were trained to withstand over 180 minutes of game time. In league two their football was shite, but because they were fitter than every other team they won (ugly) enough times to see them go up in the play offs.

Maybe the dressing room still has AIMITA painted on the wall.  That will save him a few quid at B&Q
