I'm guessing Ball or Wakefield but hoping it's Harper, with a view to a permanent deal??!!

Makes a lot of sense as he's got no future with us whichever league we are in next season, and he could be OK for Grimsby.

Not the greatest player to don the mighty hoops but never gave less than 100% effort and a central figure in the first half of this season.
Show more respect to tryers in our team you lot not every player looks fantastic but if they try thats half the battle.
I suppose you used to think Chimbonda was awsome and he didnt give a flying f***

Not good enough and the best move IMO, but couldn't fault his effort even if he wasn't the best footballer we've ever had.

Not getting involved in the 'Harper debate' again - been plenty of threads on that already. I just think it's the best move for him, he really hasn't been good enough. I said in my first response that I hope he does OK for Grimsby.

And no, I never thought Chimbonda was awesome - he was a lazy, overrated mercenary in a team of lazy, overrated mercenaries!

I think Harper actually looked decent in the first few months of the season, but seems to have gone downhill so rapidly since about Christmas.

Good luck to him. Enthusiastic character and all that, but proved not to really be good enough.

If Lundstram is out tomorrow does that mean it Copps alongside Wilson or Griffin?

I've seen players with more quality playing in the conference. Don't try and put words into my mouth, couldn't care less about Harper or Chimbonda ffs.

That's the thing I can't reconcile about him - some solid performances early on in the season (especially away) but now at times looks like he's playing a different game.

Gents lets just agree on one thing.

he came, he tried[ at times], hes moving on.

Grimsby isnt too far from scunny airport, whether you kick a ball there or help air control, good luck.

Can't say I'm too disappointed. He looked ok at first but once he made the central midfield spot his own he just completely stopped putting the effort in and it never came back. He had some talent but his legs and energy have completely deserted him and he isn't willing to get stuck in and do the ugly jobs that you need to do sometimes in central midfield. His performance at Crawley was one of the worst I've ever seen from a Rovers player since we returned to the football league, and summed up all the problems with his game lately. No place for players like him in our squad, glad we're getting rid, he can steal a wage somewhere else.

He actually could go down in history.

Think of the old sayings, gone for a burton for example.

If anyone starts rudely pointing or waving you over, just say

Stop givin it the Harper will ye.

Excellent. It's been ages since we've had a teabagging thread. Count me in for doing the dunking.

You know Cussy, Selby.  Never an opportunity missed.

Rumour has it his first child was conceived when he lay naked on the hallway floor after strategically placing a roller skate on the top stair.  Mrs Cussy was only supposed to be bringing the contents of the washing basket down.
