A Millwall fan who was on 606 said he had heard other rival "firms" had set up the trouble, to piggyback onto Millwall's reputation.

Let's not overreact until the facts are known.  Whoever caused this needs to be rooted out and dealt with appropriately by the authorities.

Did anyone else notice when the cameras focussed on a Millwall supporter who had a copper's flat hat under his coat. They caught him showing it to his mates.

Should be easy to pick him up. By the way, I was watching on Fox Soccer Plus over here in Wisconsin.

Heard a report earlier saying that it could be a feud between two families. I'm sure the full facts will come out, and agree that the culprits should be banned from football for life.

Having a scour at the Millwall forums it seems one bloke floored a 12 year old for not singing and it escalated from there when the 12 year old's father reacted. Make of that what you will.

It did make me think though, had the Leeds fans not been moved to their 'section' in our game at Wembley there could have been similar scenes, especially considering that there was a few scuffles at the KMS that season with Leeds fans in the home end.

If an adult has assaulted a child then that is very serious indeed, probably worth a custodial sentence, and I am not exaggerating there.

The good thing is, and I'm in no way a fan of all the CCTV nowadays, but with that and the TV coverage, they'll be able to sort it out.

Seems as though with the Geordies it was the Police Horse that became the victim...

Behaviour like that can never be tolerated at football or anywhere else in society. Those kids must have been terrified, I hope they find each and every one of the warring adults and give them full banning orders.

The behaviour of Millwall fans in a long and stupid past has always been questionable to say the least. The club does nothing to control these idiots and should be disciplined by closing their ground for home games for a couple of months, with away clubs being compensated by Millwall for their missing funds from gate receipts. Of course what will happen is that the FA will "investigate" and do nothing, they have no credibility at all as a governing body of a sport.
