Pro Contracts for the youth team

today is the day some of the lads have been offered pro contracts

Those offered them are

Alex Peterson
Jordan Binns
Harry Middleton
Chris Whincop
Jordan Meades

With this, has anyone heard anything definitive about the second team plan? I'd like to see a few of the current ex youth kept on for that.

These have contracts ending at the end of June - Wakefield, Ball, Maxted and Mullen. I've no idea about Mullens progress this season, I don't think he even got a loan out, but the other 3 I'd keep on.

Chris Whincop played in the same side as my lad.........he will play higher than the Championship once hes matured!

EDIT: Looking at Hume's tweet I think Finnegan might have too.
