Brentford charity event next week

Hi guys and girls,

I know this really should go in off topic but it doesn't seem like many people look in there much.

Myself and wilts rover are going to be braving the wind next Friday night and cycling in the dark to arrive at Brentford for Kick off next Saturday. We felt like like this would be a great way to end such an enjoyable season of football (regardless of where the team finish off). We are riding for bluebell wood children's hospice and looking to raise as much as possible to help a cause that is so closely linked with the club. This is our way of giving back to the club and a thanks for everything that has been done this season (both on/off the pitch).

I have set up a just giving account www.justgiving.com/doncaster-brentford we'd be massively grateful for any donations no matter how small or large. every little helps as they say.

We'll be setting off on friday night at 5:00pm from the keepmoat. It would also be really cool if any locals would be interested in coming down to see us off (as well as greeting us when we arrive exhausted)

How close will you pass by Retford ?
I'm playing football at KM at 1pm, so probably home for 4 ish, I'd ride a few miles with you.

I'm actually doing something similar in September.
The Angel, Islington to the Angel of the North, around 375 miles the route we have mapped out, then running the Great North Run.
Also raising cash for Bluebell Wood.

We are going to be rolling at around 13-15 mph (nearer 13 than 15 if I have my way) Andy if you can work out what time we will hit Retford, be good if you could do a few miles with us.

Are you going through Bawtry ?
I could head towards there and meet up en route. Guessing you'd be at Bawtry about 17:45, Retford 18:20 at 14mph.
