He was on the bench last week anyway, to be fair.

Shit game this, I fell asleep in the first half and missed the goal putting my tea on. Now I've turned it on. There's going to be at least one garbage team in the Championship next year though, because all of these sides in the play-offs look very poor.

It could have been so different, but we were destined to win.

So, so pleased that it's not us going through play-off torment.

Sit back, feet up and pass the cigars...

Isn't it strange how we look back with such fond memories of our L1 play offs yet very few, if any of us, wanted to go through it again.

I loved the play offs and had a great day out at Wembly. Did I want to go through it again this season? - not a chance.

Did you notice,in the build up to the Penalty tonight,A brentford player did a high tackle in the area while a swindon defender try to head the ball clear,if anything more of a foul than mccombe's last week!Hence swindon should have got a free kick before just before the penalty incident.Again what a difference a week makes and Im sure that  Michael Oliver only gave the pen last week because he knew it would be dramatic for Brentford to go up with it.

You would think that all the good memories of Wembley would make you want to return, but no I am delighted that we are not going this year. Mind you, my pal who is a Watford Fan came to Wembley with me last time and I have promised to accompany him if they get through this year.
Last time this happened Watford went to The Millennium Stadium and we went down to Cardiff to see Watford beat Leeds 3 - 0  in the play off finals for the Premier League. Leeds lost and the rest is history.
It was a very funny day, with all the pubs in the centre clearly identified as being a Watford Pub or a Leeds Pub and Leeds Fans were constantly trying to gatecrash the wrong pubs. Just like they did to our end of Wembley.
What a weird set of individuals.

I had a great time in our hammering of Southend and at full time at Wembley but got to say, all other times during those play-offs I was a nervous wreck. I was pretty much shaking for 90 minutes at Wembley!

Is'nt Brentford chairman Greg dyke going to be the FA chairman soon? I love a good conspiracy theory.

The shot on goal stats were Swindon 5 Brentford 1, suggests Swindon have a greater chance to win the return leg.

Not really, brentford have a very good home record, shots on goal don't always tell the story either

Swindon scored from open play, Brentford needed a pen. Stats never lie.

They don't lie, we got 84 points more than every other team in L1, hence Rovers being Champs.
