Blimey, go out for the night and appears I've started World War III. Wonde which side the Italians will be on in that one ? Lighten up pal, you're doing yourself no favours by not taking a light hearted joke....

Maybe some people just get tired of simple minded people making borderline jokes that are racially motivated. Danum's perfectly right in what he's saying. I for one am sick of seeing cheap little jokes about Italians on here. . .

I'm thinking of applying for Come Dine with Me. Perhaps danumdon would like to come and cook a pizza and maybe ditch would like to prepare some sour grapes. Any Germans reading like to put some towels on the chairs or Americans like to kick the table and put a flag on it ? Jeez....

And, in the interests of fairness, I'll have a hanky on my head, wear white socks and be aled up in my bulldog t-shirt. Hmm I love close season.

Jesus, taking into account the attrocities the ordinary Italians was subject to when the country did Surrender, the awful treatment of the Italian military POW's by the Germans, 2nd only to the Russians. The countless stories of Italian families who took in Escaped British POW's at the risk of their whole family being murdered. Despite all the facts taken into account, a joke about stereotyping an Italian for surrendering, is hardly worth getting worked up about is it?

Listen, don't mention the war! I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it all right.

what we need is for Rovers to sign an Italian or two, so everyone can see just how generally dogged and indefatigable they are, and what a benefit to the club they could be

i hear there's a young lad down at Brentford who might be released from his loan contract at the end of the season - he's already pretty much single handedly won us the championship without even pulling on a Rovers shirt...

Seems already that Di Canio has lost the Dressing Room at Sunderland. Players don't want a manager who rips them off in public. Di Canio is no angel, he is a disgrace to his country Italy, and to football in general.

Well if he's lost the dressing room that's no worry, as he keeps banging on about how he's shipping out all the players this summer.

I can really see them going down next season.
