Like many others, I thought Woods was one of our most improved players last year, but still not good enough.
I felt much more confident when Sully was playing at the end of the season. I think the board has recognised he's not good enough at this level and let him go. IMO this shows ambition as we are looking to improve in that position.
I think it will be difficult, as it will in most positions, to bring in better players we can actually afford. Maybe Karl Ikeme now Wolves have been relegated again?

I just get frustrated when folks keep on criticising wodds, time and time again, and even after he has been released.

People are reacting to a legitimate piece of news - Woods' release - so they aren't exactly singling him out out of nowhere to slate him are they?

He's the biggest name we are releasing, and people are merely posting their thoughts on it. What's wrong with that?
