Brian and Ian Joy
« on May 18, 2013, 10:04:09 pm by newyankee »

For the Rovers exiles in the States, I recently mentioned a rather poor Scottish commentator called Ian Joy who works for the new Bein Sport cable station.  Today on the PSG game he mentioned his English dad, but not by name.

I did a bit of searching and then found that he is the son of forner Rovers player Brian Joy who played in 1972, joing from Coventry and then going to Exeter before coming to the States where he plauyed alongside Pele and Eusabio.

Shows you what depths we will sink to when the season has finished and before next season's fixtures are published.

That Bein sport channel is pretty good.  Hopefully they show more games from the Championship next year.  Terri Leigh is hot!

Yes Arabia, with a bit of luck we might see a couple of live games or if not live, slightly delayed.  The one big drawback is that horrible Geordie Messilover, Ray Hudson.  Agree about Miss Leigh by the way.
