Bolton Wanderers: £314
Derby County: £280 (moved for bigger away followings, £380 for regular seat)
Bournemouth: £250
Blackburn Rovers: £225
Huddersfield: £224 (need to be accompanied by junior, otherwise cheapest - £374)

Lowest new adult season ticket bought after any 'early-bird' discount periods (of those who have announced prices)

Ipswich: £493
Brighton: £455
QPR: £439
Middlesborough: £430
Nottingham Forest: £407
Millwall: £400
Reading: £395

Why the f**k would you let early bird end and not have your new prices announced?.. how would they even sell STs in the meantime?..

There are about 3/4 clubs in the championship doing this. Blackburn haven't even announced any information. About 3 clubs have not made season ticket prices publicly available (I.e. you have to register/become a member of something or other to even know the price). And nearly every club makes it one degree more difficult to understand than it needs to be.

You'd be surprised how many clubs actually do that RedJ, Sheffield Wednesday did the same last season where Season Tickets went on sale for a period of time, then when that first period ended there was a short period when you couldn't buy a ST until another the next period when there was a price change (due to change in division).

Is there any particular point in doing so? disregarding teams with a chance of changing division, I mean, which would be justified.

I'd take a guess they are doing the same thing this season. Early bird period ends on 8th June and no info for afterwards;

It works well for clubs who sell quite a lot of STs and for those changing division. It also allows for clubs to change ticket prices quickly and I suppose they could also price the season tickets dynamically; e.g. change the ticket prices depending on how well the club are selling season tickets, if a club is selling a lot of STs they can raise the ticket price slightly during these periods to maximize revenue and if they are selling next to none they can drop the price.

I know for many Premiership clubs the home games all go on sale on one day in different time slots before the start of the season. Liverpool do this and the big games all sell out within an hour.

This is another thing. Clubs are increasingly using two early bird deadlines (an early bird and an even earlier bird).

Also, pretty much every club now offers a finance option (Zebra finance seem to have gotten in with most clubs).

A new trend is also adult tickets linked to taking in a youth (or under-something) and you get the ticket at a discount rate.

We adopted a 2 price rise scheme a couple of years back. Along with the Cat 1,2,3 matches. They didn't seem aware they were pricing people out...and it worked.

You may also notice a number of clubs have 10 months interest free direct debit or finance on offer. We don't. Yet.

Let's hop this season with more stability in the pricing, more options in terms of multi tickets, pay on the gate etc, we can claw some people back.

The family ticket we offer in the family stand is excellent though.

I know some people might moan at this, but I still think we could take a lead on this and offer season tickets in the south stand for say £200. I personally think they would sell thousands with the correct marketing, coupled with the junior tickets. Obviously this can't be incorporated this year but if we stay in the division who knows

It's a fact that there are many supporters that find the cost of the current ticket just a little too high and that's a shame

Blackburn Rovers just announced their season tickets at £225, and now that Watford have been confirmed - you can currently buy a season ticket there for £355. Two more clubs which are now currently cheaper than rovers. Which brings the total to 11.

Don't forget Blackburn are still in receipt of parachute payments, hardly a level playing field in terms of setting income levels.
