How is that a shit draw?  We were seeded so it was always going to be one of the lower L1 or L2 clubs.

The big boys come in for the 2nd round, so see off Rochdale and then the real fun starts.

Hill was like a returning messiah to Spotland. Not sure it will be that easy. Used to love the pies there and a spot of bowling at the club. Alus remember us packing out their then new stand and the Sarge scoring in what I recall was a 2 all draw or did we win 3-2? All a bit hazy with the passage of time. Great night that.

I remember very few scores correctly on account of the alcohol I consume. At the time it was Brentford-esque. The whole stand erupted, sang. We battered 'em second half. Love Spotty. Remember my Dad making me a life member of their club type thingy.............oh and the famous triple save by the Admirable Chrighton (spelling duff on that, methinks).
