Am off to Frickley, Retford and Rossington on July 2nd, 6th, and 9th. Does anyone else think it bizarre that we then haven't got anything publicly announced until the Bradford friendly on the 27th July. That's two and a half weeks without a friendly. Wonder what they're planning ?

True, could be they have that on Sunday 21st though and still leave at least a couple of Saturdays available. Also heard the rumour re Motherwell at the Keepmoat on the 13th, if the pitch is ok ? Dons are at home on 7th, 14th and 28th so I presume pitch will be ok then. Andy ?

They're trying for a Premier League team in between there.

If there is a prem club lined up for a home friendly and they are waiting for the green light from Andy re the pitch then I say don`t risk it, as much as I`d love a decent home friendly I`d rather see that pitch in pristine condition for our first league game!

I don't think a friendly against anyone will harm it too much if the Dons are playing three games on it
