Any one else been watching or listening to it over last few days?

Getting a bit tense now! 1 wicket for England or 20 runs for Aussies...

It's been a fascinating test from the first ball. Let's hope the lunch break is enough to disrupt the aussies. Hopefully Jimmy's got a couple of overs left in him.

Can't we send them a few tinnies into their locker room?

I'm not a big fan of cricket but lets be honest here that last ball never touched his bat!

You could clearly hear the noise on the reply.. and you could see the tiniest heat spot too.

Snicko backed up the audio evidence, but is not used by the third umpire

Aye I saw the evidence but it still looked a bit dubious. The reaction of Anderson told the story to me. He ran the length of pitch when we took the other 9 wickets. When we 'won' the first test he just held his arms aloft. He clearly wasn't sure.

Not that I'm complaining it was nice to get a slice of good luck and I hope we go onto win!

to be fair it was only ever so slightly nicked though when i watched it before the referal i thought i had heard some kind of contact with either the player or bat , though thats with the benifit of television sound which the umpire wouldnt have heard . They do say though the margin between victory and defeat can be minimal and today that proved to be the case.

The side on hotspot showed a very faint heat spot on the bat, the front on hotspot view showed a very clear heat source on the side of the ball as it nicked the bat, Prior was in no doubt that there was an edge and that convinced Cook to review

OUT

As Boycott used to say when there were questionable LBW's given out before "technology" came along

"he's out - just look in tomorrows Paper ! "

If you watch the replay, Haddin knew he hit it, he looks behind him as soon as the ball goes past - sure sign that the batsman has hit the ball.

Agree with Donnywolf"he's out - just look in tomorrows paper!"

Quite right Gloster..the biggest clue was Haddin himself...straight away turns to see if Prior has caught it....he knew for sure the game was up.

Big question for me is what the hell we will do if Anderson goes down injured...my heart was in me mouth when he went off before lunch

Haddin knew he had hit it and looked around to see if it was caught. So where are all the calls of "cheat"? It's no different to what Stuart Broad did, the only difference being that we hadn't wasted our reviews.

Trott and Bell need to bat all day now.

i feel this is going the same way as the first test with the potential for drama. I too thought we recovered well then looked like getting a promising score then go and lose 3 in 15 mins madness. Lets hope england can do it
