Martin. As i work close to the KM, I've offered myself to Shaun if they want us to meet with the Lindley rep. There are so many issues that have not been addressed from the survey feedback.

Went for a beer in South Stand at 2.15. Shutter's were half closed, a guy told me they were having trouble with the pumps, he said "They forgot to try them before they opened"??!

Had to join a long queue at yhe one remaining bar further down concourse. The queue was long because they only had one lad pulling pint's to order!

I asked why they only had four people serving. A girl serving said "It's all they'll allow us".!!!!!

Why they didn't 'pull' other people from the 'closed bar' to help is beyond me.

When I eventually got served it was 2.40.

At half time the 'closed bar' was now open. People were taking pints of lager back as they tasted "funny", (cleaner still in lines?). They didn't seem to be serving the Boddingtons, so after queueing 5 mins I asked why. "It's just coming out froth" was the reply, but they weren't offering up this explanation to the poor sods behind me, so as I turned away I shouted "The beer is off!". Much groaning & cursing as the queue quickly evaporated.

Revenue lost. Piss poor service. No draught beer to be had. Same old, same old.

Nice to see Richie back. We shot ourselves in the foot not marking properly for the corner. Good defending of set pieces is a must in a division full of players who can deliver an excellent corner or free
kick. Forget the third goal. An aberration.

Why would they only put Dominos in the West Stand?

with the length of que in the family stand we could have set a world record for human dominos if someone had pushed the very end of it

I think that the kids serving were under age,too young to pull beer by law, there is a lesson in business sense that needs learning , a few years back I was working with Doncaster race course,27 bar staff didn't turn up from the shitty agency that had been hired, the bars took 120k instead of £180 k. :welcome:

IMO you should be at least 18 to server alcohol; alas you don't have to be over 18, as long at there is a person who is  authorised by a personal license holder who is over-18.

In fact there is no legal minimum age to serve alcohol in the UK!

We turned up at the south stand turnstile and had to wait ten mins to get in due to 3 out of 5 kiosks being put aside for pay on the gate only. a good idea but a lot of folk were moaning because they had pre paid and had to queue to get in. How about a portable booth or two selling tickets for walk ups. That way the club won't lose revenue from folks who got in late and couldn't get served before match started.

Isn't that essentially the ticket office?

When I went I had to wait 10 mins for him to pull a pint properly, was ridiculous.

Had a meal deal in the west stand before the game, queues were not too bad and got served reasonably quick.
Chips were ok, but the pork sandwich was practically cold and far too dry, after managing about a third of it I was gagging and had to throw the rest away.

I will try a pie next time but certainly won't be trying the pork sandwich again unless they introduce some gravy - dont they know northern blokes love gravy......

yeah, the pork was a little on the dry side.

Belle Vue bar before the game - paid for two beers. Handed over a tenner. She brought the beers over then immediately started serving someone else.
When I asked for my change, her words to me were "You didn't ask for any change". What the f***???

Ha ha, this is the best thing I've read in ages.

Couldn't believe the prices in the kiosks! Wasn't one of the reasons for going with a new provider to make prices more affordable? Might be wrong but thought I remembered that being said?
