Brooks BeastTHE VERY BEST!http://www.runandbecome.com/getattachment/Shop-Online/Mens-Running-Shoes/Road/Motion-Control/Brooks-Beast/110122_606_o.jpgThis is the 2013 model - would love to find the original version again! I've run some serious miles at serious pace over the years as a young man with these bad boys!
My missus has just bought me a pair of Converse All Star pumps. I like them.
I was getting mine from John Lewis as they stock them, but not now too old to be seen in running shoes!
on the basis of this thread I looked for my favorite all time running trainers and couldn't believe it when I found Hi Tec still made them, so I've ordered them I'm sure they are virtually no more expensive than I paid in 1980ish.I used them for road running, then just as shoes for about 10 years altogether Hope they are as good as my memory thinks they are and no I'm not starting running again http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hi-Tec-Unisex-Adult-23339-B64-01/dp/B002FVC5K0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1378042445&sr=8-1&keywords=silver+shadow+trainers
One thing I wish they would re-release is the Benetton Treviso Rugger shirt.
I was considering these because they still make em in Lancashire. Think I'm past wearing brightly coloured running trainers though.

Nah, not for me Oslo, too nesh.I think for me and a lot of my mates, we were all into football, and we saw the whole dressers thing as a cool Northern sub-culture. So we got into the clothes, wore the hair cuts and all that. Now I'm older, I still like quality clothes but I have to do what I can for the money.
Adidas Jeans are my all time favs from back in the day. Came in blue or red, but red was for the proper hardcore dressers. They've re-released a few versions since that are similarish, but not quite the same.Other things/ items that spring to mind from a similar era...ZX 600'sAdidas Colorado's. Never owned one, but everyone else seemed to.Head Monte Carlo (slung over one shoulder of course).Ohh, and VW's minus their grill badge.Ahh. Them wer t'days.
