It seems no one wants to wear the #10 shirt this season.

We've been told BS won't be coming and Forrester as taken the #25 Shirt which is a bit odd , surely he would have chosen a lower number if it was offered. 

So what's the reason , any thoughts boys and girls.

I'm not sure but I think Forrester's squad number would have been submitted before the investment died, and we've only just found out what number he took.

Either that or JR refuses to accept that he probably won't be coming back.

Yeah ,we Know but Billy ain't coming. So as the #10 shirt been retired then.....I think not.

If BS hasn't been sold or loaned to anyone else by closing time next Monday, he ain't going to be playing anywhere until January.  Whilst he'll still get his Southampton wages, you'd bet he'd rather be playing.

I doubt he would come to us without investment, but maybe, just maybe the Board has learned the lessons from a few weeks back and is conducting any potential investment discussions wholly behind closed doors?

FWIW, with Celtic now in the Champions League group stages, I can see BS going there.

Yep, if the window closes and hes still a saints player i think our chances go up of getting him on loan

Might not want him now. They've just signed two foreign forwards that are meant to be pretty good if not big name.
