Talking of graffiti, when I worra lad growing up in Balby we had "FREE FRANK COOK" daubed every where.Going back even further (early 80s) in Retford I remember being able to buy my Dad cigars from the newsagents, couldn't do that now.The newsagent would have been in Cannon Square,next to the Olde Sun ,it was called Bowskills you could buy cigarettes in singles,fireworks,and out of date sweets and chocs whilst wearing a school uniformWhite dog shit.Community spirit, where has that gone. One big childhood memory is that in summer time everyone's front door was always open and grown ups and kids just came and went as they pleased.

There's a retro cock & balls on a bus stop in Harworth. A steady 6/10. Lacking in pubes and not a drop of jizz in sight but nevertheless a welcome piece of public art.
