70/80s memories of being scared shitless.......

Watching Dr Who from behind the sofa on a saturday tea time.
Video nasties from a bloke in a van who left your mam a photocopied list of what he had.  We had Driller Killer on order for nearly 3 weeks.  I found it quite disappointing after the long wait.
Emu's World - horrific
Hammer House of Horror and Tales of the Unexpected

Yeah, Ron Mael. His brother Russell was the singer.

Some of the dubed summer holiday shows were bad.
The Singing Rininging Tree!!!! Jeez, I get the shivers when I go to Chatsworth as that fountain tree reminds me of it!! :woot:
The Flashing Blade, worst ever! :suicide:
White Horses-best sound track.
Anyone remember the one with Jack Wilde out of Oliver? Puff 'n Stuff? WTF :s
The Tomorrow People- Loved it!

Yep I remember all those. I also loved Banana Splits with the Three Musketeers and Arabian Nights cartoons and another cartoon about a mini family living in a garden and being chased by insects all the time. Can't remember that ones name though. Also loved Land of the Giants, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Double Deckers but Why Don't  You....really got on my tits.

Mid/late 80s, we had a direct line through the bloke who was the manager of our football team and the (ahem) uncle of one of the lads in the team.

Porno Barry, we called him. Owt you wanted. Except a bit of tactical advice when we were 4-nowt down at half time.
