for Cotts....down to the bareknackers so he's been given a call up. This may be the kick up the ass he needs to start reproducing the form he is capable of, which of course will benefit DRFC

The way they're dropping mate, I think you and VivaRovers should stand by your phones.

The implication being that players only have a dip in form because they stop trying and nothing at all to do with being a genuine dip which they are probably finding more frustrating to themselves than we are. Some days, I go to work and I mess up or don't do as well as I normally pride myself. I suspect I am like every other person on this forum. Could you imagine what it would be like if everyone in your office/factory stood around and bellowed at you, questioning your professionalism and suggesting the only reason for your error is because you have become lazy or are not trying hard enough??

Aye.

Apparently Bryan Flynn has been out jogging this morning and putting some dubbing on his boots.

Dubbing?   Presumably it was Bootsy Collins

Isn't it, wasn't it, marvellous.

Every Saturday and Sunday I would spend a good hour cleaning my black Marlone Marksmen boots and also apply said dubbin to try and soften the cast iron metal that the boots were made of. Cost of boots were about £2. Value to me- Priceless

My youngen has 2 pairs (for soft and firm ground). Lovely soft material to protect his precious toes and feet. Both are brand names, bright colours and just shy of about £70 for both. He just kicks them off (kids don't do laces these days) covered in mud and leaves them. Value to him- Doesn't give a shit.

If he walked onto the freezing foggy field in my day, wearing those boots......he would have either had to play like Didier Six or he'd have had the shit kicked out of him
