The latest news from the Keepmoat
« on October 09, 2013, 05:01:50 pm by silent majority »
Just thought I'd let you know some of the stuff we chatted about in our latest meeting. It's mostly stadium stuff;

The first 12 months of operation under DRFC has led to a profit of £250k, much better than the predicted loss of £750k. That profit goes onto the playing budget.

Multi game ticket revenue is double what we received for the whole of last season.

Retail and catering revenue is well up. New shirt sales are 45% up on this time last year! and the Louis Tomlinson thing has helped but not by that amount!

We also planning some promotions based around the Brighton and Yeovil games. Details to follow.

I'm pleased the shirts have been a success.

Give it a couple of months and we want to be thinking about next seasons shirt, if it is going to have fan involvement again.

Any more news on investment required to the level that was rejected from Sequential or is it still paupers as usual ?
We have to maintain the strength in depth and quality of the squad to survive in the long term.

Rovers aren't paupers, not in comparison to the level of investment the club has been used to for most of it's existence.

Well done to everyone concerned. Great news. The huge away support no doubt helps this season. I like both shirts this year so bought both.
