Has it finished yet?

Has it?

This unedifying babbying that always pours out from some bell ends on here whenever out standards slip?

The usual moans come out every time.
"8 of the players in that team are shite."
"X will never make it at this level"
"I'd happily drive Y back to Z myself."
"It's time for some serious investment"
"No way there are three teams worse than us."
"I want to win every f**king week and if we don't, I'll thcream and thcream and thcream until I'm thick."

Are you lot adults, or is this place populated by f**king 5 year olds.

Get some perspective.

Staying up this season would be a superb achievement. So far this season, we have played NINE out of 12 games against teams currently in the top 12. The other three games have all been away, including one against Wigan (who will certainly be contenders) and two tough local derbies.

We could scarcely have designed a tougher first quarter of the season. Yet we have a respectable 12 points. It is inevitable that we will have the odd performance like last night. I expected it every 3-4 games this year. In fact, that was the first time we've really collapsed in 12 games.

Now, grow up and get some f**king self-respect. This is football. It's tough. It needs people with resilience, not f**king overgrown babbies.

I appreciate what you are saying Billy but stop and think for a minute.
If nobody expressed their opinions on here.............right or wrong. Sensible or stupid.
We wouldn't have a forum.

Agreed WR. Equally we wouldn't have a forum if BST didn't express contrary views

There's opinions and then there's uneducated drivel, there's mardy arse drivel, there's 'I want it now' drivel, there's ' I want to win every game otherwise I'm going to wee the bed until we do' drivel. All the latter are really frustrating.

Just catching up on here, so apologies if it's been said, but some on here needed to go last night just to see and appreciate the support that the fans gave the team from start to finish. This is not a dig at those who couldn't make it, as I appreciate not everyone can. However if we could bottle some of that support last night and sprinkled it on here, it wouldn't all of a sudden look like we're the worse club in England on and off the pitch (on the basis of 90mins football)

:thumbdown:Sadly I had a ticket CR but spent 3 hours on the A66 trying to get there, finished up watching on a friends TV in Aycliffe. As I recall we were bottom of League 1 at Christmas the year we won the playoffs so it IS early yet, but we were definitely 3rd best last night

I err towards this view BST but looking at this objectively, we got hammered last night by a team who had only previously won twice all season and prior to playing us had won one in their last ten, culminating in sacking their manager a few days before. Losing 4-0 away I can accept will happen to us a few times this season, but not against a struggling team like Boro. Very poor and needs remedying.

With expectations having to be higher or is doom , it's understandable when our wheels fall off never mind the teams. Realistcally who on here expects to compete week in week out , I don't . I don't even know our best 11 or it's possible to play 4-5-1 with these players . What I do know is , that there are more changes like our minds on here than our first team line up and it's a long season I just hope we get a good cup run to mix it up a bit.

Signs all the way up warning about the A66. What was it. Was it that monsoon that we hit in Nth Yorks?

Nasty accident on the way home too.

Anyway's you're right chief we were 3rd best last night, but it's a football season and not a football match that will seal our destiny. We've learnt that under all our previous managers for as long as I can remember.
At this moment I can hand on heart say Leeds and Boro are the only 2 games when we've been well beat. I can count around 10 others where we've been OK - Good. When I look at it that way (the bigger picture), there is far from a need to be down.
