What really is annoying

I am a big fan of PD however, this defence he has to field and the main reason we are leaking far too many goals is all his own doing. At the start of the season i felt we needed a brand new back 4. 10 games in i was certain we needed a brand new back 4 and the moment Rob Jones got injured he should have made sure that he brought in another center half. McCullough in my opinion isn't ready to step in. Wakefield will never be a league footballer in a month of Sundays and Khumalo doesn't fill me with confidence either. I am fully aware that our budget isn't great and we were turned down by one or two but surely there were someone out there better than we had if we failed.

Couldn't agree more!!

In fact i'm just arguing the toss on this one on a different thread!! Our back 4 weren't given enough attention and it looks like the dams burst.

The sooner we can get Corporal Jones back to command some sort of order the better!

I agree with this but I thought we were urgently in need of more depth and, I couldn't understand why we kept signing midfielders. Too much of the budget must be going in this area!

I think the reason we did that was because we were seriously lacking in that area as well. Could you imagine how weak we would be in midfield without signing Duffy, Forrester, Wellens and hopefully De Val turns out to be a good signing in the end we would be seriously short there without these signings.
